Ummm, well, to be honest, its kind of like if you're a Yankees fan, you'd root for the Mets....

Hopefully your not rooting for us out of pity!....

(In order to get myself pumped up for the playoffs, I'm going to watch the 1st half (on Youtube) of the Jets-Broncos '98 AFC Championship game.....Vinny, Wayne, Curtis, & Keyshawn Baby....!)

Drawing the line in the sand with rooting for the Muts ... Yeaaaarrrrsss ago i actually pulled for the Jets when Richard Todd led them against the Fish. Was it AJ Duhe?? (sp) that sank them??? ... Not sure what year that was, but lonnngggg ago. Didn't mind them one bit when Parcells was behind the helm.... Not a pity thing, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see them Win! ...

Thanks. I think we know realistically they're still a year or two away from becoming a real force. We'll see though.

There was an interesting article in the Daily News the other day following the Jets' win over Cincinnati. The columnist basically replied to the people who started insisting that the Bengals weren't really interested in trying to win the game since their appearance in the playoffs was already guaranteed. It seems that if the Bengals had won the game, their opponents in the first round would've been the Texans. And the columnist wondered out loud why anyone would've wanted to play the Jets rather than Houston.

Apparently, either Cincinnati thinks that the Texans are best left for someone else to contend with...or they're more arrogant than just about any other team in the league.

I think that the Jets will win against the Bengals this weekend and this is coming from a Giants fan.

Bengals lost to Houston earlier in the season, so maybe they saw something that made them think as such.

Uh, you were saying?
