I tell ya.....The Jets have become the media darling over night.
The Jets had 10 points in that last game between them and the Colts. That was only because of a botched kick-off. Then we took our starters out. Manning was starting to figure the Jets out, at that point.
All of the ESPN talkin' heads are gaga over Rex Ryan....jolly ol' coach with the heaRT OF GOLD. Speaks his mind!! Bold! Brash!! Defense!! Run game.... I'm listening to Colin Cowherd right now and they're talking about Rex is Rex....good ol' Rex......NEWS FLASH: REX AIN'T PLAYIN' THE GAME.
And the whole week will be about the Manning offense versus the Jet defense.
Meanwhile the Manning shadow is cast over the Colts Defense who have stuffed every running attack this season. Just ask Rice, Maroney, Chris Johnson, Moreno, Williams, McGahee, Gore. A Colt defense that plays the red zone like no other.
But I like that our "D" still gets no pub. That way the opposing offenses are not ready for them. They don't talk smack......they are very business-like. Greene already said this morning on the Stephen A. Smith show that the Charger Defense was better that the Colts. Holy Amnesia Batman!!!
The same Colts that held them to 3 points in week 16, until they pulled their starters. I think the Jets are starting to believe that they really beat the Colts a few weeks ago.

WOW, that didn't last long. Hope Henry likes the new place.
Back to the Jets....If the Jets win on Sunday I might be too stunned to even watch the late game....I hope they have smelling salts at my bar.
We lasted 8 months in Jersey City. It was just a disgusting place to live! Henry loves it here. The shaggy one has lots of friends here and the doormen at the apartment spoil him.
I'm being a realist with the Jets - unlike some of the nut jobs calling the FAN. I understand we are the step-children of NYC, but give me a break, we have a LOT of work to do and the media (like always) starts pumping up the Cinderella team.
Did we back in? Yes.
Was Cincinnati that beatable? Yes
Was San Diego doing a great choke job? Yes
Is Rex the savior? No
Is Sanchez good? Not really, but he's getting better.
Can #24 contain Wayne? Yes
Indy is a fantastic team with such a deep roster, but if NY figures them out and contains that high octane "O", then it will be a heck of a Sunday afternoon.
I can only imagine how LOUD that Colt crowd will be.

See....that's what I was just talkin' about....
Indy's Offense this....Indy's Offense that. They are gonna go to sleep on Indy's ferocious "D".
Yeah....it's gonna be a long day......for Sanchez.
