Discuss amongst yourselves...

I'll be watching Crabtree this pre-season.

I think you have to watch Hakeem Nicks for the Giants as well. Coming in to a situation with 3rd rate receivers, and no legit scoring threat at the receiver position, and a good line and run game, and a serviceable QB. Thats a pretty good spot to be in.

Also Moreno, hes pretty much going to be starting right out of the gate.

I hadn't really thought about Nicks, but I think that's not a bad analysis...

Darrius Heyward-Bey, most think he will be a bust but I think he'll do just fine in Oakland.

I kinda' think that Al Davis is manifesting symptoms of Alzheimers. Someone needs to declare him incompetent and inject some sanity into the general management of the Raiders. Heyward-Bey will probably make some sort of a name for himself, I just hope that name isn't "BUST". Once a young athlete of some amateur reknown gets a deep bruise on his giant ego he's damaged goods, like Vince Young. The Raiders have been good at handing out ego bruises to hotshot receivers.

Randy Moss couldn't make it work without a QB and a supporting cast... Heyward-Bey is, in many ways, going into a worse environment.

I am not a fantasy football guy, but if I were, Beanie Wells would make my team.

This isnt a bad choice. Tim Hightower is the defacto starter, but he averaged less then 3 yds a carry last year, and was pretty much ineffective away from the goal line, and had just one carry over 20 yards on 143 attempts. Outside of that Jason Wright is the only other feature back with any real experience.

Wells might just win the starting job out of training camp/preseason.

I'd take Pettigrew, he will have an instant impact.

an instant impact in detroit? that means 17 catches for 114 yards and 0 TD's. he's very valuable in the blocking game, but we are talking about detroit. they have no one to get him the ball yet.
