The Cleveland Browns because they have the Dog Pound and Donte Stallworth. Vick will feel right at home.

I'd say Vick's chances are pretty slim at this point, at least as a quarterback. His best chances are teams that tend to run the Wildcat formation, and of those teams only the Chiefs and 49ers seem to really have an opening for him. You could probably even scratch the Chiefs off that list since they have already invested significant resources in Matt Cassel. They don't really have anybody behind him though, so it's still a possibility.

On top of that, you have a whole list of teams that have apparently sworn him off, and the Chiefs appear to be one of them. San Fransisco does not appear to have sworn him off...yet.

Another problem is that he's probably lost a substantial amount of his once great athleticism, and he was never a good quarterback to begin with. I think it's highly probable that his career is over, for all intents and purposes.

He still can still run a sub-4.4 in the 40. While on house arrest he worked out on conditioning. Perhaps he's lost a lot of his "explosive movements", but I'd say he's still in better athletic shape and faster than almost all QBs. He EXCELs in the wildcat formation, but he still has an incredible arm. He tended to have bad judgement with throwing the football, but he was still the starting QB and the highest paid player. It's in his best interest to give up his "run first, throw second" mindset and concentrate on becoming a pocket passer.

If Oakland doesn't make an offer it's going to come down to training camp; either an under-performing 2nd-3rd stringer gets cut or an injury.

Vikings, Lions, Raiders, and just because Jones likes to gamble perhaps Dallas. I don't think Vick will ever make much of an impact on the NFL again regardless of where he goes. This would be true especially if he has lost any of his speed while he was away. Wherever he goes he will be a backup for awhile if not forever.

My Packers are interested which makes me sick.

They dont want him as a QB though. They want him as a utility player to return kicks, play RB and WR in red zone situations, and other places he is needed.

Vick wasnt a good QB. In fact, I would call him a bad QB. He is a solid athlete though and would be great as a utlity player that could either run or catch the ball.

I dont want him in a Packers uniform though. I dont care how much he can help. I think he should still be in prison.

I wouldn't say they're "interested", they just didn't publicly say "no"...Even the teams who publicly say no can sign him.

It is being said that the Patriots, of all teams, have been talking to him. Somehow, I wouldn't put it past them to sign Vick.

I wouldn't put it past any team to sign him, if there was a need a backup QB. Except for Atlanta for obvious reason and Dallas. While Dallas could use him, the new stadium still has many unfilled corporate luxury boxes. If they signed vick, now the companies that lease the boxes may be afraid of the negative PR impact of dog fighting.

From Jagman:
"Remember everyone, the job of the GM and owners is to make a profit, not win football games. Signing Vick will have an impact on profits."

Winning games brings more profits that anything else. If Vick is able to turn around a losing franchise you can best believe a good number of fans of that team will forget all about Fido.
