Ron Dayne - RB (Giants) - he ran like he had a load in his pants. Big disappointment.

Ricky Williams - RB (Miami) - huge disappointment, could have had a brilliant career in the NFL.

Ryan Leaf comes to mind right away, of course. I think Vince Young has a chance to go down that road as well, although you can argue if he ever really was good enough to play in the NFL in the first place. He's not gonna get a chance in Tennessee unless grandpa Collins goes down. There's only so much you can learn standing on the sidelines. He needs to play.

There's a good chance you can add Michael Crabtree to this list in the very near future. What a moron.

Remember how the Texans caught a ton of flack for taking Williams over Reggie Bush...Not like the Texans are hanging banners in the rafters, but that pick looks a lot less "stupid" now as it seemed to back then. I personally have disliked RB since he taunted Urlacher in the NFC championship game and did his little flip into the end zone. Bears owned the Saints the rest of that game, and I think Bush kind of lit a fire under them with that garbage.

I don't see Art Schlichter listed anywhere on this thread.
He should be worth a dishonorable mention.

Most credible people realized Dayne wasn't going to be an every down back. He still did a good job considering what he was asked to do.

Williams has amassed almost 8,000 yards in his career? How on earth is he a "disappointment"?

Just Google "Cleveland Browns draft picks"

Tim Couch & Courtney Brown (instead of Donovan McNabb & Shaun Alexander) in back to back drafts

Williams was a great back before he lost his mind and decided he would rather spend his prime football years smoking doja in Bali. I kinda agree that he has earned mention here.

In a similar vein of knuckleheadedness, has anyone mentioned Michael Vick yet?
