So Favre's supposedly great in 'clutch' situations... (playoffs, league, win)

would those clutch plays have been necessary if he hadn't thrown so many INT's earlier in those games? Maybe in some of those games the Packers or whoever would've won by 3 TD's if he hadn't been on the field. No 'clutch' necessary.

OK, I'll bite. "Show Me" Missourian person. See ya next week in Saint Lou. Find any touchdowns around there yet?

Wow...stalk at all? Anyway, I'm more of a college fb fan. The NFL is obnoxious, and I get sick of watching the 'Brett Favre Worship Hour' (AKA Sportscenter) every day. Unfortunately, there aren't many other options if you're interested in national sports highlights.
BTW, I'm from the western side of Missouri...Kansas City. Not that you or anyone else realizes that 75% of the KC metro is NOT in Kansas.
Just wait until the playoffs. He'll be as clutch this year as he was last year with the Jets. It's easy to be clutch in the regular season against mediocre to crappy teams.

No, not stalking, just a couple of mouse clicks to determine where you are coming from given your vague generalization and baseless representaion of his career in a couple of sentences. One thing to post a reply to an existing thread, completely another to start a thread without any attempt to provide any relevant back-up or proof to what you say.
btw, I think most people realize most of KC is in Missouri. Don't remember the name of the place but have ate several times at a little breakfast spot just off I435 not far from the big park out that way. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Yum, Yum, Yum!
Not until he gets hit so hard that his season ends--just like last year. Bwah hahahahaahhhaaaaah!
Nah, his season didn't end...he kept playing hurt and was so bad he drug the Jets down with him. Ego wouldn't let him sit, he played horribly down the stretch and then gets to use the excuse that he was hurt.
Well, if you are hurting enough to play so badly and have an arm injury at that...perhaps you should let the back-up play?
This Vikings team could win 13 games without Favre (That offensive line can measure pass protection with a sun-dial)...I hope he knows that just in case he gets hurt again.

exactly, gus ferrotte could've come out of retirement and had that same game behind that line, he was knocked down once, never sacked, Aaron Rodgers was sacked eight times.
Put Fav-re on the Packers and he'd be throwing off his back foot into double and triple coverage and would've been picked 3 times, that is if he lasted the whole game......
the whole point of the 3-4 was to bring pressure on the QB and the Packers lame conservative game plan only blitzed 16% of the time.
I think Gruden had to change his underwear at half time the way he was going on about fav-re. They give him so much credit for things like looking off a CB, the guy's been in the league for like 19 years, he should know how to do that by now.
