Is anyone here, besides me, sick and tired of seeing these NFL idiots over-celebrating after a good play? Not just after a touchdown but after any decent play. I would love to see players emulate past players such as Tony Dorsett, Larry Csonka, John Riggins and others. This stupid displays of showmanship is utterly goofy looking and makes the players look like buffons. I'd like to see the players score a touchdown then either hand the ball to the ref or hand it to the person in charge of holding onto the ball for the player. High fiving is one thing but the shenanigans nowadays is just stupid. Just wondering if I'm alone or not.

I actually like the celebrating but more for touchdowns. I think ochocinco is fined way too much. If you score, you should be able to celebrate.

But I agree, celebrating after a routine tackle or play is lame. It's even worse when you are on the away team and running around dancing.

Watch Larry Fitzgerald. Spectacular catch in the end zone and he just flips the ball to the ref 99.9999% of the time.

It's one of the things fans love about him in AZ. He acts like he's done it before and he'll be doing it again.

Celebrating after a play? Hmm, it depends.

On defense, if its a key stop i'm fine with it.

On offense if its anything other than a TD dance i'm not fine with it.

Maybe in Fitzgerald's case it was because he had a dad when he was a kid growing up.

I can't imagine how some of those buffoons who celebrate even finished high school.

My biggest laugh is at the idiot who puts a strong hit on the runner/pass reciever and thumps his chest, jumps up and down, and trash talks.

Yup, he held the runner/reciever to a 5 yard gain on a 3rd and 4 play.

I think even touchdown dances/celebrations are stupid. Flexing muscles, pointing or thumping at chest, jumping into the fans, everything other than handing the ball to the ref and moving to the sideline.

Loved Steve Breaston's BAD GUY dance in the End Zone, yesterday.

I find it humorously sad when a team is getting their butt kicked and they score a cleanup TD, the scoring player celebrates and gives the index finger (#1) and such.

Uh, hey pal... check the scoreboard and shaddup!!!
