Dumb idea.

Look, if the Leauge wants to do this, then switch the games. The Super Bowl should ALWAYS come first. And enough with these two week waits for the biggest game of the year!

I dont blame players for not playing in the game. Why risk a career ending injury for a game that means absolutely nothing. All-Star games should not be played in any sport. Honor the best players by naming an all-star team and giving them a plaque and leave it at that.

The pro bowlers do get paid but its peanuts compared to their salaries. Its a free all expensies paid trip. I would love to visit but not live in hawaii. Maybe someday.

This is the stupidiest idea the NFL has done!! Not fair to the players who will be in the Super Bowl either. They won't be able to participate.....and it won't be Hawaii!! That's something they all looked forward to.

How many of you are actually planning to watch the Pro Bowl? I might if there isn't anything else on TV.

I can't wait, I'll tell you! To see the NFC whip up some AFC ass! (Except for Eagles and Cowboys players!) I even have a Pro Bowl box pool I am planning on entering.

By the way, I am just kidding. I think I would get more excited picking socks. The rational, logical thing for the NFL to do would be to just eliminate the game. It came into prominence after 1971, when the AFL and NFL joined forces. It may have been relevant for the league to hold this game back then, but time has clearly passed this exhibition game on. There's really no reason to hold such a game, unless it's in mid-season.

The only possible reason for moving the Pro Bowl up was to fill the annual empty week between the end of the playoffs and the Super Bowl. Our friendly local sports commentators, having presented us with every possible form of analysis after one week, have nothing to talk about for that horrendous week still remaining before the Big Game.

I have no plans to watch the Pro Bowl, since the scheduling was nothing if not insane. You can hardly blame any players from either the Colts or Saints for declining to participate. Still, if it will keep Super Bowl conversations away from those awful "personal interest" pieces they use to fill air space, it will have served the purpose.

This Pro Bowl move is the stupidiest thing the NFL has done in a while! Tey are going to make the Super Bowl players fly down there to just "show" (interupting prep time with their teams) then flying back again!!

They are not flying back again. They will remain in Miami and await the rest of the team's arrival the next day.
