I just bought a NY Post because I'm a sucker for sensationalism and read about recently acquired NY Jet Antonio Cromartie. Dude is 25, fathers 7 children with 6 women in 5 states.
The reason this was in the news because he had to ask to be fronted some of his salary from the Jets to pay child support - NFL players typically don't get paychecks until the season starts - and he was behind on his payments with another one of his baby's mommas.
Holy smokes. I can't imagine a box of rubbers, even the super ultra pleasurable thin ones, are more expensive than any child support payment.
You're taking up a very, very lost cause. Imagine what his life will be like in about 10 years when his NFL career is over, and support payments are still due. He'll lose more in attorney fees trying to get the amounts lowered than what he'll be owing! Poor guy. So gifted, yet so clueless...
I just looked it up - he's a FSU guy. Imagine that.
Antonio - wrap it before you tap it - it's one of the first rules of being a player.
I got a brilliant idea for an invention: anti-paternity and paternity suit related waivers. Sports teams and rock bands could have them. If you're a geoupie and want to go backstage or to the team hotel room you have to sign one, stating no member of the team or band is obligated to support you by any means if you just so happen to pop out a baby 9 months later. LOL

Too much money involved, you'd be sending the lawyers to the poor house without their ability to exploit this scam.
I heard on local sports show that the Jets advanced him something like $500k on his contract to pay off his past due child support payments, so he can start fresh (and try to keep up).
