Why would the Vikings want him, he's not a quaterback or a former Packer.

Just sayin'

LT is visiting the Vikings, Eagles, Jets and Saints this week and next, they have all invited him.

Heard on sports radio that the meeting with the Vikings had all the brass there, including Brett on conference call

The Vikings would like to have him if it's for the right price. Apparently he left the meeting with a Vikings jersey in tow but no contract signed.

Next stop for LT--New York Jets as Shonn Greene's backup.

At either the Vikes or NY I think he can still be a valuable contributer if he can be happy not being the feature back.

It's official and I agree with you 100% NorthJersey.com: O'Connor: LT only makes the Jets weaker

I dont see how you let go of a 1400 yard back in Thomas Jones and then bring on LT as a replacement for similiar money. Thats thy they are and will always be the JETS.

The same Jets that went to the AFC championship game, just made a solid CB signing and will likely be one of the best, if not the best team in the AFC this season. I think LT and Thomas Jones are about the same quality. In fact, I think LT could be better.

Same quality? Really? When was the last time LT rushed for 1400 yards? 2007 maybe???

They wont even be the best team in thier own division.

I must say I was very surprised that LT went with the Jets...maybe that means he thinks Brett Favre won't be going back to the Vikings.

I thought he would at least interview with the Eagles and Saints.

He won't be expected to have those kinds of yards, I think he gets it what his role is now. But with Cromartie there, he was one of the problem guys in SD, that he had issues with. He must have really liked Rex Ryan and they offered him a 2 year contract so that will take him out to the end of his career.

A healthy, happier LT might be somebody to be reckened with once again.

If he stays healthy and the Jets go after Brandon Marshall according to Yahoo Sports, the Jets will be the team to beat in the AFC. With Cromartie now, they already have the best corner tandem in the league. This team is for real!
