i know! he's actually the one who figured out why his 7 times tables were so easy ! i think it's totally cute to listen to him being armchair qb. he can remember the score of a buffalo/jets game from 2005 - we call him "the rain man of football"

i will! i have a sort of funny story about his obsession - in late 2005 wayne chrebet was signing autographs at our local Sam's Club ...anyway, my husband brought my son to meet him - waited on line for 2 hrs. got his autograph and pix with him....the next week - career ending concussion....

fast forward to christmas...i get him a signed autograph from curtis martin and chad pennington - he was over the moon...not long after, yes, martin and pennington are OUT - martin for good, and well, chad recovered as we know. it's a joke now within my family and with my friends that we are to get NO MORE Jets autographed stuff!

we can't wait until the training facility moves to NJ next year - we're not too far away and it'll be fun to visit!

Am a die hard Colts fan here. Had to endure endless seasons of ridicule from my dh as time after time I saw my beloved Colts fall. Last season, he was once again telling me that they were going to self destruct. I told him that this was the first time I had actually saw them play as a true team should, relying on one another and meshing as one. I won out and he then said, well look how long it took 'em! Sheesh, some people.

I have to admit, I once loved the Packers cause Brett is from Mississippi and you gotta support the home boy! It has been hard to watch him the last couple of seasons though. And, Rice was a favorite to watch as well, but after going to Oakland, it just didn't seem the same. Eli, well, I once thought he might be a better athlete than Peyton as far as physical movement, but Peyton has showed a few moves the last couple of seasons as well.

My favorite player? Hands down, Joe Montana, I just loved to watch that man push a ball down the field.

I too believe the play is not what it once was, but in some instances, I do believe some players are smarter than in years past.

What really buggers me is some of the newer players are staying in so much trouble, it saddens me.

And yes, guys, I am a female fan. I am the sole football fan in my household and dh jokes that if he needs anything done by me, he better make sure it is done on the off season.

I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Last season sure was a disappointment. Hopefully we have a much better season this year.

Hey jetsfan, you and I should get along really well. I'm a big fan of guess who? BTW, I live for football season and can't wait; no matter how badly my team has been as of late. But that's what makes a true fan right?

That's what I love about a good rivalry. Some of the Jets/Dolphin games are the absolute best - it's almost like watching college football at times. I dislike the Pats too, but doesn't everyone? Actually, it's more like envy; they've had too many winning seasons now and too many Super bowls. It's funny, but it seems like lately the only team in the AFC East the Dolphins can beat is the Patriots.. Go figure.
