Delhomme will be a solid backup somewhere and could even go to somewhere like SF and compete for the starting job. If Favre doesnt come back, he would be better than Tavaris Jackson in Minny.
Exactly right? Jake might not be good enough to be a starter anymore but with a solid offense he could be very effective if he needed to fill in for an injured starter.I would have killed for him or a David Carr last year.
Instead I get a guy almost as experienced as me.

Or you could have just beat Cleveland or KC and then that doesnt matter.

We had about 4 or 5 games that we should have won, besides the 3rd string QB game and our schedule was much easier than the previous year.

Eaxctly so your point is mute. Your defense failed to make the grade this year in many games.

It's actually moot not mute and even without the gimmes that we lost, we still could have made it with a win in Dixon's game and maybe 1 more. That would have locked us in even though it was a disappointing year.

Well, Delhomme has a home with the Cleveland Browns and he could possibly be starting.

The starter should be dependable.
