Default The Redskins have now become a Playoff Team with the signing of Shanahan and Mcnabb at QB

Look out for the skins this season and I believe he will show his A$$ when they play the Eagles on Monday Night Football.

This is the happiest Day of My life since the Eagles are now the WORST team in the Division

As a Redskins fan, My happiest day will be when the Cowboys become the worst in the division.

Anyways, hmmmm. Mixed on it.

I like Philly and like McNabb, but it seems like too much of a short term stop gap type of deal. Most sources agree that we really needed an offensive line for the long term.

I'd be a little skeptical to say the least. The skins have been a band-aid team for quite a few years. They have a point of picking up yesteryear's stars and should-have-beens and it never really works out. They don't do the greatest job of developing talent from the ground up.

Shanahan is a step up, but his decision making as of late is also a toss up. His best days were 12 years ago. The idea of taking once respected coaches for the skins never really works out either. Take Norv Turner (also an ex 49er), Marty Schottenheimer, Joe Gibbs, as examples.

The Skins now have a HOF QB

young? let's not go crazy. Honestly, he has a few good years in him. His major weakness is his passing. His strengths include his ability to stretch the play to pick up yardage and scrambling to find receivers...and he really can't do that anymore...not like in his first 5-6 seasons. He has sustained too many injuries.

As an Eagles fan who has watched him nearly every game...I respect him, but seriously I would have traded him 3-4 seasons ago. I'm gald to see the club make the move though, we need it now more than ever.

But I see the skins going 7-9 or 9-7 depending on the schedule.

And the Eagles will be 5-11 or 7-9

Depends on if Shanahan still has "it". I remain skeptical.
