You can't be serious.

You just basically proved why we hate the Vikings. It is this arrogant attitude that has nothing to back it up.

We've won 7 of the last 10 and you had to pouch our legend QB to pull two of those for you. How many Packers does your team take during FA?

The Vikings are a joke.

Well here it is, seems whomever had the better QB won...now its the packers. Growing up during the Tarkenton years, division rivals were an afterthought.

I voted the Bears because Packers and Bears are the longest rivalry in NFL history.

The thing about the Vikings is that they're always competitive. They haven't had three consecutive losing seasons since their first three years of existence (1961-63). So games against the Vikings are regularly meaningful, whereas the Bears take every other decade - the 1970s, the 1990s, the 2010s - completely off. They'll have a brief run, dominate the division for 3-5 years... and then you won't hear from them again for another dozen years.

Rivalries work best when both teams are good.

That said... Bears-Packers, Bears-Vikings, Packers-Vikings... those are always good matchups.

We're digging up old threads again, Jonathan??? With the Vikings upswing, not a bad idea!

To me, regardless of the Vikings winning the division last year, their continued success, the Bears are the primary rivalry and always will be. My opinion is divisions are better with good competition rather than one team dominating.

Packers/Bears will always be joined because of their history. In the 50s, Papa Bear Halas spoke up to get the Packers to stay in Green Bay, a well documented story.

Okay, ancient thread, but here goes...

Recently I jumped on Purple Reign's bandwagon with both boots -- but only because they're undefeated, and my Cards seem to want to self-destruct week after week. The Bears are not very intriguing. At all. However, I believe the Lambeau Leapers to be a very nice team. Someday, I may leap on their bandwagon.

The good-fer-nuthin, fickle, fair-weather fan that I am will eventually bail wholeheartedly on the Vikes as soon as there's a major loss - or perhaps even after a minor loss.

I have NO shame.

I'm a really old Packer fan who still considers the Vikings (and the Dallas Cowboys for that matter) to be an upstart expansion team.

The Bears are the Packers biggest rival.

As a kid in the 80's and 90's easily the chipmunks. Those were some of the most out of control games I ever saw. And the pack was so terrible and so dirty! Charles Martin anyone? Man I miss those games. If the pack loses on Sunday I can always look forward to a bears loss to cheer me up I don't care who they are playing lol.

The Vikings ? If they want to play in a dome they should have been a soccer team or maybe hosted dance recitals.

Since someone above mentioned the cards and I now live in AZ which I love...the cards fans out here are not real football fans. Basically act like a bunch of losers with no respect gor the game. If you get stuck going to a bar out here the unbearable people are fans of cards, bears and as always a handful of east coasters. I'm not sure any of them actually enjoy football, they just act like spoiled little girls needing attention and their first sanitary napkin.

Bears still suck.
