Steelers trade a 7th round pick to Tampa and reacquire QB Byron Leftwich. I'm thrilled with this trade because relying on Batch or Dixon for 2-4 weeks could have probably sunk our season. With Leftwich we have a quality backup who previously did well in our system.
Yes...finally some good news!
Besides Ben not being charged, of course!
He needs to be suspended a considerable amount of time. That Lady said Ben's bodyguard forced Her into that room and Ben exposed Himself to Her(who knows what else went on!). I think Ben payed a few people off to walk on this.
Its almost guranteed his suspension is reduced, unless he engages in more detremental conduct. At least thats how I am reading the reports. If he is gone 2-3 games and they can at least win 1 of those, I would not be writing off the season by any means.
Byron is actually still a VERY GOOD QB but in the right system and with a good line to help him. He wasn't protected in Tampa and his numbers showed. He will show the superiority of Pitt's line vs. Tampa's when he puts up the good numbers like he previously did.
