Ben will be suspended 4-6 games but it can be reduced based on behavior. The other major news about Ben, is that now they are seriously shopping him and will take a top 10 pick for him. I really hope they don't go through with this. It has been proven time and time again how difficult it is to get a solid starting QB in the league. I really hope they just try to straighten him out instead of rebuilding our team again.

The Raiders or Rams could use a qb like Big Ben!

I'm thinking Buffalo finally makes the plunge! They need him more than anyone else.

Ben is a POS...i just moved to Pittsburgh back in December, and from everyone i've talked to, they all say the same thing...Ben is a classless *******, and he's a real prick towards the ladies.

i'de bet money that Ben raped that girl, and it's a sad day in Football if he plays again...pathetic.

Rumor a couple of weeks ago was that the Rams offered their #1 pick for him. I didn't believe because I thought it was too good of a deal for Pitt.

I feel the same way, I have no proof or anything like that but I just don't get a good feeling about this guy. Hearing the statements and just the way he carries himself makes me think he needs to be in jail rather than suspended. I feel like he got away with rape.

i hear ya...my post was somewhat of a knee jerk post. he wasn't charged and there's nothing but "he said"-"she said"....but something tells me he's getting away with rape.

with that being said, a slap on the wrist will only tell him that he's above the law, and it will no doubt happen again...only next time, he may not be so lucky...

if i were an owner of a NFL team, i wouldn't touch him for nothin'...

I think we should trade him! He is a blemish on the Rooney's reputation and the Steeler organization. I don't care if he wins SB titles--I would rather cheer for a team with high morals then cheer for someone like him, Holmes or Reed. There are plenty of teams that like convicts, thugs and troublemakers--they can have him, Holmes and Reed. The Rooneys were correct in trading Holmes--nothing but trouble from day 1.

So commissioner Goodell does what the courts should have done but lacked the courage. He severely punished that sorry, degenerate punk Roethlisberger. I only question why he wasn't banned for the entire season.

Well since Roethlisberger will be off that entire time serving his suspension the women of America are in real trouble now.
