Your thoughts! Too harsh? Not Enough? Just right?

Share what you think.

Also Adam Shefter are reporting that they are shopping Ben for a high 1st round draft pick.

So if we get to pick #11 tomorrow night without a trade, will you disappear? Seriously, when Ray Lewis was in trouble, I didn't get my rocks off posting daily updates about him on NFL message boards. Do you have a life?

He should not be suspended for this long. Goodell is going nuts with a power trip.

He was not arrested or found guilty. So, why is he getting 6 games?

Beats me. I would have suspended him for two games and ordered a psychological evaluation. Four games is the maximum I'd accept. Six games is a bit excessive. Hopefully there is a way that he can get it reduced to four games.

Goodell's motive may be to send a message and make an example out of him.

yes, I think that is a big part of it. I have mixed feelings about this...I thought he'd get 4 games. I won't be surprised if he's traded. It is unfair only because 6 games hurts the team, his teammates, the fans, etc. ALOT, and why should they suffer because he needs to be taught a lesson.

But Ben would be hard to replace, he's one of the best, and I'm sure quite a few teams would want him, baggage and all.

I think its correct. This is the 2nd time he has done something like this and the 2nd time he has gotten away with no charges. Plus add on to the fact he was told not to drive his motorcycle a few seasons ago and did it anyways and it wrecked our season. Rooney has had enough of the crap and is shipping him out.

Roethlisberger should be glad that the Atlanta DA decided to throw him a bone. For Big Ben, now is the time that the rubber meets the road. Perhaps he should look within himself and get to the meat of the matter. He just can't go around like this because Goodell is going to get really cranky the next time something like this happens and will make it really hard on him. Even with all his money and fame he just comes across as some kind of chubby ding-dong who's been playing football without a helmet. Jeesh...what a knob!

Very talented quarterback.

But, speaking as a former motorcyclist (Honda Interceptor) -

Anyone who rides a Suzuki Hayabusa without a helmet has to be missing a few bricks from the building.
