Honeywell HZ-385BP Safety Sentinel Electronic Ceramic Tower Heater

The Honeywell HZ-385BP Safety Sentinel Electronic Ceramic Tower Heater is an economical and safety-concious way to erase the chill of winter for pennies. It is lightweight, sleekly designed, and packed with safety features that would make a fireman smile.

Once you turn on the machine, it quickly heats up a small room as well as an average-sized office. I feel quite toasty in my 12 x 12 room with this ceramic beauty working in the background. The oscillation makes the heating of a room more efficient and more effective than the standard stationary space heater. It is important to note that although this heater quickly heats a room, it is designed to heat a small room. Do not buy this heater if you want to heat a large space.

The best features of the heater are the safety features: infrared technology, auto-shut off feature, timer function, a safety feature that tells you if the heater is hot to touch, and a safety tip over switch. Gone are the days of having to worry about children or pets wandering into the machine. The heater will shut-off if someone gets too close, it gets too hot, something falls on it, or if it tips over.

User reviews on this device have been mixed. Some users are happy and consider the machine to be a good buy and others do not. I personally would recommend this as a purchase because of the safety features for those who have children or are accident prone. The cheap price, $77, and the safety features make this heater the right choice for me. The heater comes with a three year warranty.

Pros
Quickly heats up the room
3 year warranty
Safety features: infrared technology, timer function for one, two, four, or eight hours, and auto-shutoff feature, et cetera
Oscillates so that heat is spread
Cheap price
Lightweight

Cons
None
