The first thing you will notice in my home is the spread of beautiful cream carpet. After we moved in, we made contact with local carpet cleaners and carpet cleaning machine rentals. It wasn't long before we decided to buy our own steamer. This was the best decision yet, we cut out all carpet cleaning costs and it was great to clean whenever you wanted especially with a kid.
The steamer first sprays from its pump; water and shampoo, then brushes with a carpet agitator brush which lifts the carpet hairs and its great suction power extract all the dirty water and leave your carpet almost dry. A tank in tank system keeps clean water separate from dirty water and the tank can easily be removed to pour out dirty water and fill with clean water. After cleaning your carpet, it looks fuller and softer just like when it was first laid. It also leaves a fresh smell around the house.
It works well with all carpet shampoo and you can extra clean a really dirty spots example, a red wine stain can be removed by spraying the spot with a strong carpet spray, leave it to work for a few minutes and later clean over with the cleaner alternatively the steamer has a stain remover brush which can also be used over a stubborn stain directly brushing over the spot for a bit longer to get the stain out.
It is an upright steamer and can be used on demand like a vacuum cleaner. This is a great product not just for carpets but it's deep cleaning power gets down to the roots of the carpet and significantly controls dust mite and other stuff that cause allergic reactions. You can easily switch from carpet cleaning to other cleaning options and its long host can be used with the brush for cleaning stairs and tight corners the steamer can't get to.
It is quite bulky and heavy to easily carry about especially when the cleaning bucket is full but you seldom need to lift while cleaning. It's surprisingly not as noisy as one might expect. Also, you will need a good sized storage as it takes up a fairly large space.
It is more expensive than other brand steamers but it is a great steamer to have if you need to get a perfect clean every time. I totally recommend it.
