With it's stylish, and incredibly sophisticated French doors, the Maytag MFI2266AE is a fantastic fridge. You may know the Maytag MFI2266AE as the fridge which has a through-the-door water and ice maker, that is very luxurious and a huge incentive for many. Both ice and water are released through a filter inside the refrigerator, and this also allows for there to be much more room in the actual freezer, without the ice maker.
One of the best parts of the Maytag MFI2266AE is that it has a Smart Seal, which is a thin, vertical panel that will swing right out and creates a seal along both of the doors, right above the bottom, where the freezer is located. If it were not for this seal, the French doors would constantly be rubbing together and wear down the refrigerator. While the Maytag MFI2266AE is considered to be a medium sized fridge, it has a whopping 22 feet of space in both the fridge and freezer. There is a great deal of room in the fresh foods compartment, and the Maytag MFI2266AE is definitely best suited for a very small refrigerator or a couple. The Maytag MFI2266AE is not very energy efficient, compared to other models, and will probably cost you about $60 a year to operate.
