Black and Decker Small Food Chopper

Rating: 3 out of 5
  • Currently 3.0/5.0

You love to chop, dice and mince your vegetables for meals but the thought of cutting them by hand just kills you. Then the Black and Decker H305 food chopper is what you need to look for. With its 1.5 cup capacity the dishwasher safe Black and Decker Food Chopper will do all you veggies without much ado. This is a compact 6" x8" x6" appliance that will snuggly fit in your cupboard and it has only 4 pieces to it. All is has is a single stainless steel blade that does all the chopping, mincing, and dicing and it comes out very easily for cleaning. It is an affordable food processor for anyone on a budget but extremely effective.

The Black and Decker Handy Chopper is a small implement that requires that you chop your veggies to size so that they snuggly fit inside for further processing. It has a safety measure where it simply will not turn until the lid is in place and the bowl and the base in a proper alignment. There is therefore no danger of it malfunctioning or even chopping your finger. You need to be extremely adept in fixing it because even the slightest misalignment and it will simply no budge. Unfortunately it takes some people time to learn how to properly turn off the pulse button so that they stop the processor just at the right time.

This food chopper is the perfect size for any small family and its blade stays sharp for so long and is extremely easy to clean. You will love it especially when you have guests at home and you need to chop, dice and mince in a hurry. It can be comfortably be used for doing olives, onions, pickles, carrots, chestnuts, green and red peppers as well as hard boiled eggs. The advantage it has is of course the easy clean and its compact size. On the downside is of course the challenge of aligning it before operation which can be stressful if you are not patient. You will find it in stores for about $20.
