The self winding movement of the watch removes the need for batteries and the potential for watch damage due to changing batteries or forgetting to change the batteries. This watch includes a limited warranty and a 3 year- Diamond Quality warranty.
The Rolex Tutor features a duel toned band. This band is 18 caret yellow gold and stainless steel band. This band can be shortened or lengthened as per the need of the wearer. The latching mechanism on this watch is easy to work and allows the watch to be latched with a single hand. This allows the individual to latch the watch without the assistance of another person or any other gadgets.
The Rolex Tutor had a sapphire crystal. This crystal is clear and provides the scratch resistance that is essential to maintaining the appearance of the watch. Sapphire is second in strength only to diamond and therefore is ideal, if expensive, for the watch crystal. This crystal is necessary to protect the face of the watch. The case and bracelet are original Oyster manufactured pieces, which is common for the Rolex pieces.
The Rolex Tutor face is unique in the watch world because it does not have numbers. Instead it features high quality diamonds set in 18 carat gold in the place of the numbers. The diamonds have a background of white mother of pearl. This provides a shine and glimmer to match the eloquence of the rest of the watch. This can be confusing if a person does not pay attention when putting the watch on. To assist, the Rolex and watch name are printed on the face. There is also a date mechanism on the watch, next to the stem.
The watch is numbered and has a stainless steel back.
