CUTCO NEW Santoku Style Signature Set with Block

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The greatest thing about this CUTCO knife set is that the knives come in many different shapes and sizes, making them useful for any project. They come with their own block where each individual knife has its' own place to be stored. This makes them look very organized in your kitchen and keeps them fresh because they are stored in the wooden case and not left out in the open. In all honesty, these knives will cut through anything. This is both a positive and a negative feature of these knives. They should be kept away from children under all circumstances. While the regular knives are great for eating steak dinners, or other types of meat, it's not advised to allow young ones to use them because they are incredibly sharp. On the bright side, these knives just do not get dull. They will remain sharp throughout years. Customers at CUTCO will admit that they have their sets for over twenty years, if not more. I have had my set for a year now and can not imagine I ever used anything else. These knives make cutting completely effortless. Maintenance is easy; they can be put in the dishwasher or washed like regular knives. The scissors can be split into half to make washing them safer. CUTCO is very advanced in its category and has proven to be worthy of its popularity. They do not rust or stain and they are made with high carbon so they maintain sharpness. They are not comparable to any other set I have ever used, but they cost over $400 so you must be willing to pay for them. Keep in mind though, you get what you pay for and this set is worth every penny you pay for it. When buying, you can customize the block to say whatever you'd like in it, making your set absolutely unique!
