This HP Officejet is a sound investment for a family or small office. At $399.98 it costs a bit more than other traditional printers but it is well worth the money. This unit prints, faxes, scans and copies and its best feature is, it's wireless. This was the selling point for me because in a three story house with children all in school as well as our office, we would usually have several printers in the home, all breaking down and needing ink at different times, etc. Being that this is wireless, it has eliminated so much unnecessary upkeep of having multiple units.

This printer has a two-sided printer feature which reduces paper waste, an excellent feature to have. It requires Windows or Mac, comes with a one year warranty and a really user-friendly touchscreen. You can enlarge up to 400% and it faxes pretty quickly. The printer holds 250 sheets of paper and you can automatically feed up to 50 sheets at one time. Photo printing quality is pretty decent too. It is not as good as what you would get in a photo shop but the pictures are nice enough to display.

I will say that this thing shakes so don't think about putting it on a flimsy little table. It needs strong support underneath it. Also, warm up is quite slow and occasionally it will miss a page in a fax with multiple pages for some reason. My only other concern with the printer is that I have had more than a few occasions of the paper jamming. I went through a few weeks of a lot of jamming which I believe may have been the paper I was using but now it only jams once in awhile and it does seem to be when the paper is really low. Despite its few small flaws, I am quite pleased with this purchase and it is much nicer having one unit in the house that needs maintaining rather than several.
