Haier 1.7 Cu. Ft. Refrigerator/Freezer HNSB02
out of 5
The Haier 1.7 Cu. Ft. Refrigerator/Freezer HNSB02 is the perfect refrigerator for the college student or the office worker who wants to keep a small amount of food and beverages cool and fresh. The small size, 1.7 cubic feet, means that it does not take up space and is easy to pack-up and take to your next location.
The refrigerator has a wire shelf that slides out, an ice cube tray, and enough room to store a gallon of lemonade. The adjustable thermostat makes manually defrosting a breeze. Clean-up time is minimal with this refrigerator. When it is time to clean, you simply wipe it down. The refrigerator compartment keeps my food and drinks cold and the small freezer compartment keeps my TV dinners frozen.
The Haier Refrigerator/Freezer is also very quiet. There is no noise whatsoever from this machine. There is nothing spectacular about the design except that you can switch the side the refrigerator opens on and the handle is recessed. There is also a coil on the back of machine that helps to keep the food inside cool and leveling feet to keep the machine from wobbling.
The design and reliability of this machine is rock-solid. I have had had no issues with performance or maintenance. Food stays fresh because of the great seal of the refrigerator and the cooling coil on the back. Also, I received this machine in great shape. I am aware that others had issues with shipping damage and performance, but I did not and have not.
Even though Haier is one of the best brands and they are company that has a solid reputation worldwide, I can honestly say that I bought the refrigerator because it was the cheapest product ($89.99). I do not regret my purchase and would buy again.
