LG SteamDryer Series: DLGX2502 27'' Gas Dryer

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Complete dried clothing is an essential process to keeping your clothes lasting a long time. Since washers and dryers are not cheap, you need a unit that will last for 10 years or longer.

The LG SteamDryer Series: DLGX2502 27'' Gas Dryer has what you're looking for. If you have an older make you're realizing that your dryer is just about shot. You can only keep the unit so long before it starts to make loud noises and up and quits on you.

This dryer has: 7.3 cu. ft. capacity. 9 drying programs. 9 program options. SensorDry option. LED display and electronic controls. The list price for this unit is $818.00.

LG has been around for over 50 years. From salesman to professionals, all I've heard of is positive remarks from the product. The dryer is a standard-small size. You can fit this dryer easily next to any washer with limited room. The dryer is very quiet when it's operating. It dries clothes very rapidly, and capacity is ample.

Negativity about the dryer is not bad at all. Like most dryers, you don't want to overuse it. Never put too many clothes in at once, (causing articles to be damp).

Try and limit the use of the dryer to once or twice a day, (older dryers shouldn't be used no more than three times a week at full loads, if you do, it causes extreme stress on the dryer which in turn, will make the dryer perform a lot less).

As far as dryers go, this one would be my pick. Like always, you should always research or ask what the best dryer would be for you. Recommendation of a new dryer.

Safety becomes an issue with the older dryers. If older dryers aren't kept up to spec, they can be dangerous, (rare cases heating problems causing a fire danger or explosion). No worries though.
