The Epson Artisan 810 is a true all in one printer. It prints high quality photos, the page printing speed is excellent. This printer lets you fax, print, copy, scan and print directly to inkjet printable DVD and CD discs. It is Wi Fi capable printer to let you run it wireless or with the standard USB cable.
The main control panel is a 7.8" touch panel screen with a 3.5" LCD panel. The controls on this printer are very simple and it is all done via the touch screen. The layout is very user friendly and easy to understand.
Epson has continued to use the six ink cartridge system they have used for years in all their better quality photo printers. I wish that they would have kept using the same ink cartridges, I have had Epson printers for about five years now and would not buy anything else, but it would be nice not to have old full cartridges laying around.
The photo quality of this printer is out of this world and it will print a 4" X 6" photo in under 10 seconds. This printer will print any size picture up 8 inches by 10 inches like many other printers but his one has better quality and it also prints them quickly. The Epson Artisan 810 is true all in one, without any additional trays or adapters you can print directly onto an inkjet printable compact disc or DVD./ This works great for those home movies or videos of the children's birthday party, graduation or wedding, you can commemorate it with a DVD video with a picture from the event and custom lettering, created by you printed directly on the disc. When you print directly on the disc there is no worry about getting the label on straight, with no bubbles or having it come loose.
This printer can be set up to print by the standard USB cable or it can be set up to print wireless. This is a great feature you can use one printer for every computer in your house, even the laptops will be able to use it from anywhere in your home. My shop is 50 feet from the house and I can still print form the shop.
With the auto feed adapter you can print on both sides or you can set it manual and\ print on both sides, which is great for the environment, thereby using less paper.
