I've been a long time fan of the classic electric guitars made by Fender and Gibson like most guitar nuts. I was skeptical about trying out this space age looking guitar favored by Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid and other contemporary rock and jazz guitarists. I thought, what could Parker do with the electric guitar that hasn't been thought of already? Well, a lot really.
First of all there's the tone. Parker guitars were developed to not only give a guitarist the warm tone they love with the Les Paul, but also the edgy bridge tones that make the Fender Stratocaster famous. This guitar is about versatile sound. The Parker Fly Mojo guitar features the following components to get you the perfect dialed-in sound a pro musician is looking for on the stage or studio:
o Seymour Duncan jazz pickups in the neck position, and JB pickups in the bridge position.
o 3-way magnetic pickup selection with push-pull coil tap.
o Custom Fishman piezos and stereo voltage-doubled pre-amp.
