The 60" 60PK750 from LG is one of the largest television sets made by the company. It is also one of its newest models. This is a model that created some quality images without having to deal with any bothersome wires to connect it to different things. It is a great set for anyone who wants a larger type of plasma television set.
The 60PK750 set works with wireless Wi-Fi tuners to help with receiving signals from a variety of devices. These included such things as the Internet connection in a nearby area. This was especially convenient in that it worked to bring out access to the NetCast system with ease. This system offers a variety of 1080p HD movies as well as plenty of weather, news and sports data.
The refresh rate is one of the best rates that have been found on sets of this size. An amazing 600Hz refresh rate works here to ensure that the blurring on a set will be minimal and that no images will be compromised. This was a very beneficial part of the set in that it made it easier to see the images on the set without worrying about any unusual images created by motion.
The sound is THX certified and is easy to control. The set can automatically adjust its volume to an appropriate level as different forms of media are switched. This meant no more having to fumble for the remote to turn something up or down if the volume was improper. Controls for the bass, treble and balance of the sounds were also available on the 60PK750 set.
The set can be mounted on a wall but it can be a real challenge to get that to work. This set weighs about a hundred pounds and is a real challenge to handle. However, a stand does come with the set. The stand is able to swivel itself around from one angle to another, thus making this set easy to adjust for larger rooms or for specific types of viewing considerations. Getting this set to be viewed with ease was a huge advantage.
The last part of this set involves its price. The 60PK750 costs $2300 to get. This is slightly lower than that of what LCD sets in the sixty inch range would cost but it is also about the same as what one's typical plasma set in this range would cost. It is still a good deal for a set like this.
