2005 Ladies Rolex Watch with Claw-set Diamond Bezel
Rating: 4 out of 5
I received this watch a gift and do not know the price. It was insured for $2,000 at the time. Being a Rolex, the build quality is to a high standard of excellence; all parts have remained in place and have been serviced to keep them in top condition. It is a beautiful watch and looks wonderful on my wrist as it's not clunky as many of the Rolex ladies watches seem to be. The watch has a round face, with a claw-set, 31-diamond bezel, gold numeral plate with diamonds in the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. The bracelet is a loose link type with clasp. The design is delicate and very feminine, easily worn and functions perfectly when I wear it on more formal occasions. I feel it is somewhat formal for every-day use, but it certainly sets off a nice evening wear ensemble. The look is perfect. Keeping it well maintained has made it reliable and it seems to keep accurate time. It's performance is, as expected, flawless. I should not be amazed, and know of Rolex's reputation as a fine watch-maker, but it looks as good as it did when I first wore it and stands up well to the occasional accidental hard contact.
It's a lovely watch and anyone would be grateful to have such an outstanding piece of jewelry. Having an outstanding timepiece is a bonus. The only negative point I can mention is that the claw-set bezel does occasionally catch on a sleeve and I need to remember to put it on after I've put a jacket or sweater on.
