This has a solid and well-balanced base, and securely holds the thirty-quart fryer pan (included).
It uses the standard size, refillable propane bottles, and has an electronic timer.
It includes the gas connector, valve and tubing, and has a small control box with red, LED indicator lights and a button to "reset" the automatic shut-off timer.
Instructions for connecting the propane line to the burner base, and lighting the burner, are included.
One of the safety features it has is an automatic shut off timer. Every 15 minutes the indicator will flash to let you know it is getting ready to turn itself off; giving you the option to push the "bypass" button, or let it continue to shut off. It will require frequent monitoring.
The cleanup is easy, the pan washes out with soap and water and you can use a wet rag to clean up the base.
You have to use this outside, in a well-ventilated area; you do not want to use this inside your home.
The design is simple and functional. The base is heavy-duty and balanced well. The price is average compared to other brands with similar features.
