Mini Gas Blodgett Rotating Oven

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Mini Gas Blodgett Rotating Oven that I purchased from a bakery wholesale shop for $13,478 was perfect for my home bakery. This oven is comparable to its larger counterparts but on a smaller scale. There are no racks to roll in make this oven convenient because the rack never comes out, you just load it with your baking trays, set the timer and unload it and never have to worry about taking the rack out. You can bake, roast or rethermilize baked goods just like you can with a larger rotating oven. This oven even had the capability of proofing bread if I choose to set up the steamer portion of the oven.

The ten heat cores in the rotating oven mean that I have three on both sides as well as two above and two below my products so that I get a nice even heat all the way around so that my baked goods never come out burned or only partially baked. The only thing that I did not like about this oven is that the temperature is not digital, which means that if I were to need something baked at 356 F exactly, I will have to bake it longer because it will have to be a lesser temperature.

Overall, I am very pleased with my rotating oven even though it was costly. It was well worth the money. I give it a five star as it heats evenly and is even easy to clean once the oven cools off. The temperature gauge is a minor set back but the built in timer that comes with the oven is worth it because I can set several timers for various products baking at once, a feature that only the Blodgett brand oven comes standard with.
