Bosch 800 Plus Series Dishwasher SHX68E15UC

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

I have not owned the Bosch 800 plus series dishwasher for long, therefore I can not comment on long term durability. For the short period I have owned the dishwasher I can say that I am one hundred percent happy with it so far. It is amazingly quiet and has a light beam that shines on the floor to let you know that it is running. So far the solid base prevents leaks which were a problem in the previous dishwasher I had. It is an eye pleasing, stainless steal machine with a life time warranty.
As we all love to save money, one of my favorite features is the eco action option that reduces energy usage by up to twenty five percent. Energy efficiency is the way to go when viewing your options for the purchase of large appliances. We have noticed a significant change. The half load option for smaller loads also helps with energy efficiency. Not to mention, sometimes you just can't wait for a full load to accumulate when there are items in the washer you may need to prepare the next meal. The half load option has proved to be very convenient. Another convenient feature is an additional third rack that gets used quite often in my family.
Another of my favorite function is the safety feature. The sanitize option is always used by me as it eliminates bacteria and enhances drying to prevent spots. The concealed heating element prevents plastics from warping or melting. I can't count how many plastic items have been ruined in my previous dishwasher.
I give the Bosch 800 plus series dishwasher a four out of five not because I am dissatisfied with it but because I have not had it for long and therefore can not determine how long it will last. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone in the market for a decent priced, great looking, quiet, and energy efficient dishwasher.
