Frigidaire 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner - FRA065AT7

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Keeping our home cool is sometimes a chore during the summer months, which is why we put window air conditioners in each bedroom to keep the rooms cool enough to sleep and hang out. We purchased the Frigidaire 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner for our daughter's room. It was small enough to not overpower their room and the price was about where we needed it to be. The temperature was quickly lowered in just minutes to allow us to keep even the room cool even during the warmest of days. The three cool settings and fan settings will allow you to keep the room's temperature at the level that you want it to be and keep you comfortable any time of the year. I like the eight-direction air control that gives you the ability to focus the air wherever you want it. The remote allows the girls to change the controls from the comfort of their own bed to allow them to not even get up when they want to turn the air conditioner on or off, or change the temperature settings. The tilt out filter gives you the ability to clean it very easily and this filter helps to reduce bacteria to keep the air cleaner as well. It was easy to install in the window with the included pleating that allows it to fit in any window that you want to use it in as well. The energy costs are not overwhelming, either, even during the warmest of months. It is quiet to operate even during the night, too. If you are looking for an air conditioner that will work for your smaller room that is fairly priced, easy to install, easy to use, and quiet, then this could be a great choice for you and your family.
