2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

In the 2005 model year, one of the popular models Honda offered was the Civic LX Special Edition coupe. The 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition has a 1.7 liter, 115 horsepower, SOHC 4 cylinder engine, and a slew of other incredible features that make this car a great buy including a remote entry system and cruise control, both very popular, convenient features. The power features of this 2005 Honda Civic model include power door locks, power windows, and power mirrors.
The model I have has a 4 speed automatic transmission, although a 5 speed manual transmission is also available for the 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition. With the model I own, I have found that my car gets incredible gas mileage. About 36 MPG (miles per gallon) on the highway, as well as 30 MPG on city roads. The great gas mileage is better not only for the environment, but my wallet, too!
Some other features of the 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition include 15 spoke 15" alloy wheels and an attractive rear spoiler. Other fun interior features of the model include a 6 disc, 6 speaker CD audio system that has connectivity for MP3 players. The sound system has proven to be one of the best, fun features of this Honda Civic.
Along with the extra features, overall, the 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition proves to handle very well on all types of roads, however it isn't an ideal car for driving in poor weather conditions, like snow or rain. Considering this is a coupe model, it's not surprising that the backseat of the vehicle isn't too roomy, however this car is fine if there is usually only 2 riders, or children in the backseat. Overall, the 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition is a great buy and packs in a lot of features as an affordable, popular car model.
