In the 2005 model year, one of the popular models Honda offered was the Civic LX Special Edition coupe. The 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition has a 1.7 liter, 115 horsepower, SOHC 4 cylinder engine, and a slew of other incredible features that make this car a great buy including a remote entry system and cruise control, both very popular, convenient features. The model I have has a 4 speed automatic transmission, although a 5 speed manual transmission is also available for the 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition. With the model I own, I have found that my car gets incredible gas mileage. About 36 MPG (miles per gallon) on the highway, as well as 30 MPG on city roads. The great gas mileage is better not only for the environment, but my wallet, too!
