Frigidaire 21 cu. ft. Upright Freezer FFU21C3A

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Frigidaire 21 cu. ft. Upright Freezer FFU21C3A is an economical and reliable solution to store a lot of items that need more than refrigeration and that need to freeze quickly and remain fresh. If you live in area that experiences power losses frequently, or need to store a lot of items and want to maintain freshness, you will appreciate the seal of a Frigidaire.

Food is quick to freeze in this freezer. There is a lot of space to store food and there are shelves in the doors for those that need to reach quickly items. The shelves inside of the freezer are fixed, but with the large amount of space, you probably would not need adjustable shelves.

The design is basic and functional. You get one color to choose from and that color is white. The construction of the machine is solid, rock solid. You will never have to worry about air getting past that fixed and secure seal. The interior and exterior are very easy to clean. Stainless steel looks prettier, but stainless steel is more expensive and more difficult to keep clean.

There is a lock feature on the upright freezer that keeps small children. The downsides of this machine are that the defrosting is manual and the shelves are not adjustable. But, most consumers will happily make those sacrifices for all of the benefits they will receive by using this machine. The cost of the freezer is $572, although you might find it cheaper elsewhere. Frigidaire also comes with a one year warranty and a limited warranty that is good for 10 years. Buy Frigidaire and you will be a satisfied customer.

Pros
Seals securely when closed
Lock, a great safety feature if you have small children
Reliable brand
Freezes food quick

Cons
Shelves aren't adjustable
Manual defrost
