DeLonghi DE400P Energy-Star 40-Pint Dehumidifier

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

Before purchasing my dehumidifier, I made sure to ask around and ask my friends and family, as well as sales associates for what they thought about variosu brands and makes of dehumidifiers. Despite the fact that the DeLonghi DE400P Energy-Star 40-Pint Dehumidifier got quite a few negative reviews, I found myself intrigued since it had all of the features that I needed in a dehumidifier - I was getting desperate for a good dehumidifier with a pump, so I decided to go ahead and purchase the DeLonghi DE400P Energy-Star 40-Pint Dehumidifier. I initially bought it since we had just moved into a new house, and had been planning on turning the new basement in the new house into a play area for our children, but it was very damp and smelly. I had tried my old dehumidifiers in the basement, but they just didn't seem to be getting the job done, hence my decision to purchase a new one. I wanted a dehumidifier that would be able to pump all of the water from the damp air into the sink in the basement, so it would be low maintenance and easy to use.

I have been using the DeLonghi DE400P Energy-Star 40-Pint Dehumidifier for about roughly a month, and I have to say it has more or less changed my basement. I am very satisfied with the product. It is efficient and gets the job quietly, with a very long hose. It can actually pump out up to 10 feet of water, and has all kinds of adjustable options for how much water needs to be removed from the air.

The DeLonghi DE400P Energy-Star 40-Pint Dehumidifier has completely changed my basement - it removed the water in virtually no time, and requires virtually no maintenance.
