I have owned my Hoover Bagless WindTunnel Upright vacuum for approximately 5 years. When I purchased it new it cost about $200. Although it does a good job, it does not pick up dirt as efficiently as other models I have owned. It is a heavier unit than most other vacuums I've owned, although it does feel sturdy in the design and does not feel at all breakable. Until now it has been reliable and I've had no issues with needing to repair any part of it. It comes with many attachments and extensions for the hose, which makes cleaning stairs rather easy.

This vacuum comes with a bagless canister that is easy to remove for dumping the contents out, however, at times the contents tend to get pushed up into the canister and it is necessary to get something long like an old wire hanger to get the contents to come out. At times this can get messy and leave my hands feeling dirty. It also comes with a filter that needs replacing, and costs around $30. Although it works better with a clean filter, the filters can get very expensive, especially if you use the unit a lot.

This model is self-propelled which makes it easy to vacuum. The upright part of the vacuum is able to release backwards with a push of your foot, and with another push it can go down even further, almost to the floor. Although this could be handy, the unit itself is too big to fit under much and I have found this feature to be almost useless.

I still use this vacuum weekly, but do not think that I would purchase another one. It has been dependable and easy to use, but for the cost of the unit and the replacement filters, I will most likely choose another model next time.
