This little sander by SKIL is designed to get into corners, grooves and other hard to reach areas, as well as, flat surface sanding.
One special feature that really got my attention was the on-board dust catcher; plus, eight different attachments, a three position adjustable nose, and a built in work light.
It is classified as orbital, operates on 120V/8 Amps and has a generous ten-foot power cord.
Its body casing is primarily plastic, as well as the tool attachments for it. I would use this for light at home projects only, because it tends to get hot if you use it for very long.
It performed well on small projects and the built in light was handy. The attachments are easy to put on and take off, and the instructions are well written.
It is designed well, and performs well on small tasks, but is only mediocre on durability. The attachments do not seem to hold up to being taken off and put on a multitude of times, and the sander itself tends to get hot when used for very long.
Even with all its features, it is still priced average to slightly below average when compared to other brands with similar functions.
