Review of Briggs and Stratton Pressure Washer
Briggs and Stratton Pressure Washer
Rating: 5 out of 5
This Briggs and Stratton pressure washer is one piece of equipment that a home owner should not be without. The engine is, of course, a Briggs and Stratton engine, 8.5 horsepower. It is a 4 stroke so that it uses straight gas and does not have to be mixed. It is a strong washer at 2700 psi maximum.
There are many pressure washers on the market. The Briggs and Stratton pressure washer is the best one we have ever owned. We can wash everything; siding, autos, travel trailer, etc. If it gets dirty out of doors, this one will clean it.
Operation of this pressure washer is a breeze. This particular model has a pull start, like a push mower. It starts on the first pull every time. The nozzle is adjustable. There is no need to stop what you are doing to change nozzles to adjust the stream or change from soap to rinse. With six different settings, adjusting the stream is convenient and easy.
Fan soap - this setting dispenses your cleaning agent in a gentle, widespread pattern.
Jet soap - this setting is used for a more focused area of dirt/grime.
You can switch back and forth between these two settings, if need be, for one job without having to stop and start the washer.
Also, on the same nozzle, are the settings for rinsing.
Flush - a very gentle pulsating setting.
Delicate - a gentle, steady stream.
General - this setting is used for most jobs. It produces a powerful, widespread spray for larger area cleaning.
Max - this produces a powerful focused spray.
The large wheels on the washer makes it super easy to roll on grass, gravel, or asphalt. It is easy to maneuver anywhere in your yard.
The only draw back to this pressure washer is the safety on the trigger handle. Each time you let off the trigger, even if it is just for a second, you have to release the safety in order to use the trigger again. Of course, this is a safety feature and may be necessary for those with small children.
I have to give the Briggs and Stratton pressure washer a huge thumbs up. When it comes to keeping vehicles and other hard to wash surfaces around your home, this is a winner. The cost of this washer is about $330.
