Pampered Chef Bamboo Knife Block Set

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

The Pampered Chef Bamboo Knife Block Set is the perfect gift for anyone that likes to be in the kitchen. For $415 not only did I get a beautifully hand crafted set of stainless steel knives but a nice bamboo block to keep them in. The entire set weighed a nice, sturdy twenty pounds, nice for someone that has kids or animals that like to knock things down. The bamboo handles to all of the knives are a nice addition to the set, but because of this, I don't recommend putting them through the dishwasher.

This set came with paring knives, utility knives, kitchen shears, a knife sharpener, bread knives, butcher knives, serrated knives, boning knives, as well as steak knives for your everyday meals. A total of twenty knives, this set is spectacular for anyone that likes to work in the kitchen. All the knives come unsharpened so that you can sharpen them yourself to how you like. I never had to worry about cutting myself on a knife while examining the set when it got here. The booklet that comes with this set gives you all the information that you could ever want to know about how to properly sharpen your knives as well as the proper care for them as well. The handles are all forged steel like the blades of the knives and sturdy bamboo to stabilize them so that your hand won't get tired from grabbing onto a bulky handle.

I was very impressed with this Pampered Chef Bamboo Knife Set and give it a 4 rating. I was more impressed with the fact that I could look at and handle them all without worrying about cutting myself because they were all dull. The forged steel throughout the handle is a nice way to keep them sturdy. And, like with every Pampered chef product, there is a lifetime warranty on all pieces in the set.
