Review of Krups Programmable 12 Cup Coffeemaker Model: KM4065
Krups Programmable 12 Cup Coffeemaker Model: KM4065
Rating: 3 out of 5
This Krups Coffeemaker model is a smaller version of other automatic drip types produced by the same company. Do not let the more compact size fool you though, it is still a 12 cup capacity coffeemaker with some really nice features. As with other Krups models it has a built in water filter for better coffee quality and taste. This model also has a very user-friendly display panel for those of us who are less than morning people. The LCD screen is simple to navigate through the available options, which makes it very easy to program. For those coffee drinkers who also want a nice looking appliance, this one certainly fits the bill. Sturdy stainless steel and gray trim will look great on a kitchen counter.
The various settings for brew time and cycle, added to an adjustable warming time of 1 - 2 hours for the carafe, help this Krups coffeemaker brew a good cup of java. The only down side to this machine is that it does not include a thermal carafe, which may be a turn off when considering the product price. The stainless steel also tends to keep fingerprints. So if you are an anti-smudge type, the design may let you down.
If you are in the market for coffee making technology, the Krups Programmable 12 Cup Coffeemaker is a good solid choice.
