My 2004 Winnebago recreational vehicle has been used to drive across the country from Baltimore, Maryland to Southern, California and back. I have also traveled for smaller trips several dozen times since I bought the vehicle. The RV has a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower, air conditioning in the cab and the living space, a living area with a television and a full kitchen. Appliances include a stove, microwave, oven and refrigerator.
The RV sleeps four people. There is an overhead bed above the cab, a couch and a the dining table and seating fold into a bed. The vehicle also has fresh water storage, a generator and a stereo in both the cab and the living area. I love the fact that I can travel at the drop of a hat. There is very little that needs to be done for a trip and traveling in the RV is not much different than a car, aside from the size of the vehicle. The RV is easy to drive and has towing capability that works well with my Jeep Liberty.
If I were going to upgrade or change anything about the RV, I would improve the gas mileage and separate the bedroom space from the rest of the living area and cab. For short camping trips, the size and openness of the RV is fine. However, during long periods of travel, it is challenging for two people to live in a one room space. With a separate bedroom, there would be a chance to enjoy privacy while on the road.
