Seiko Premier Chronograph SPC057P1 SPC057P SPC057 Men's Watch
Rating: 2 out of 5
Expensive watches can tell a lot about a person's attitude, style and personality. They can also do a great deal in describing the way that you are living. A watch like the Seiko Premier Chronograph will allow you to show off your style and money with a simple yet elegant watch, all well indicating an understated style. No $15,000 piece, this $595 wrist accessory is a good piece for someone looking for style and flair, without entirely breaking the bank.
With a black face and a full silver body, it is not among the most flashy watches on the market, and should not be purchased if you are looking to spice up your business attire. It features a quiet appearance with a synthetic-sapphire face, an analog display, a push-button clasp and Quartz movement arms.
The watch, at $595, is perhaps a little overprice. Not as interesting or stand-out as similarly priced watches, the Premier Chronograph does still offer style and quality, as it is a part of the extensive Seiko name brand.
It is 41 millimeters across and 12 millimeters wide, and features both a date display and roman numerals for all 12 numbers. The case is screw back, and can be very complicated to confidently remove is repairs are necessary. It is water resistant up to 300 meters, and this adds to its value as it is about 50 feet longer than most other dress watches of similar value.
The watch links are a bit more rounded than seems to fit with the design of the watch, but are fully replaceable and adjustable. It features a complicated face that seems to be overload with features and movements, and though it is a dress watch, is not one that can be worn with a number of lighter colored outfits.
