GE GCG1500RBB Fully Integrated Trash Compactor

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

When it comes to trash, no one really wants to deal with it. Trash can be very messy and gross, not to mention it can fill up pretty easy.

-Think about it. You fill up bags of trash.

Normally an average family can fill up a bag in a day or two. You have yourself 3 or possible more bags a week.

Of course if you can't burn your garbage, I suggest buying a compactor, anyway.
Here's what you can throw away in one of these compactors.
Meats, cheeses, potatoes, napkins, pastas, paper, soft plastics, any kind of rubbish. Compactors are very useful.
Let's do a full comparison. Trash can vs. trash compactor. Like I said, you can't get any better odds with a compactor.
Compactors make use of better space. They keep garage smell way down. Hard to believe, right? I'm serious. Ever been next to a dumpster with compacted trash? It takes away 80% of the smell compared to un-compacted trash.
If someone told me that years ago; I'd never believe them. Trash compactors aren't in very many homes. Really more or less 1 in every 20 if that. Heck, I say get one if you can afford to buy one.
So much easier to deal with them than nasty old trash.

The Good: Everything.

The Bad: Can't seem to find anything. Not even the price.

Overall rating of this product. Including cost, performance, brand. "5.0+."

Comparing to other units, It's GE; has the name, and great consumer reviews.
