InTouchIT7100 Digital Photo Frame

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

We purchased this product very recently and it's been so nice we also purchased one for my husband's mother who lives out of state. The photo frame allows you to upload whatever digital photos you want and have them continuously looping like a slideshow just like most digital photo frames do. What's unique about this product is you can remotely add photos to it through the internet. So since my husband's mother lives in New York we can continuously update her on how our children are growing and changing. It's nice for her because she is not that technically savvy and we can still send new photos. You can also use the digital frame to access other information on the web like the latest news, sports or weather. The product also has audio as well as video so we can send her fun clips. We can access clips ourselves from the internet as well on ours. It also has an internet radio and alarm, which we really don't use. If I had to point out negatives about the product, I would say it's very expensive and it doesn't have a very attractive design. The frame is very plain and technical looking, so it doesn't look warm for the house. The price is very high as well if you already have a laptop or other device that can perform the same functions. It's really great for somebody like my mother-in-law for viewing up to date photos. Panasonic makes a very comparable product that prices about $50 higher. The major differences in these products is the way the remote works and the Panasonic comes with an Ipod docking station, which makes it easy to show iTunes and iMovies that you've purchased already.
