Totes Bubble Umbrella Lime Green Target - Stylehive
Wednesday evening as I was leaving the grocery store with one bag in hand, the sky turned very dark. 6pm looked more like 9pm. I had grabbed the Bubble umbrella that I purchased from Target as my protection from getting wet. What a mistake that turned out to be. I might have just as well walked out to my car without the umbrella. I got drenched. Perhaps if it had been easier to close up/collapse the umbrella, it probably wouldn't have been as bad? I pulled and pulled to get the thing to close. It's not an automatic button, y'know. In exasperation, I pulled the still opened umbrella into the car and closed the door. Already drenched.
It's a cute umbrella and the fact that it's clear allows you to better see other people around you. Also, it's rather fun to look up and see the rain as it falls; however, I wouldn't risk using this in anything more than a light mist or rain shower. Definitely not in a torrential rain storm. Come to think of it, I don't know if I'd want to risk that light shower 5-10 minutes later, turning into a torrential rain storm. So, until they improve on the mechanics of this umbrella, I'm going back to my other. At least I know when I push the button to close, that it will close up as fast as a finger snap.
