Amana NED7300V

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

We have had this Amana dryer for less than a year and I have to say it's the best dryer we've ever had. We have always had Amana dryers because they are reliable, easy to use and last a long, long time. The Amana we have now has a very large capacity to it so you can put larger blankets in it and it will do a great job. It has several different drying functions you can select. Auto dry is probably the easiest because the dryer can actually sense when the clothes are dry. This is especially nice for permanent press clothing and jeans because you don't want them in the dryer for longer than necessary. Timed drying is another option and that works great for things like towels and linens. It has a delicate dry setting, which has worked really well for us when we just want to put a few delicates in the dryer and have no wrinkles. Air dry is probably the only setting we don't use much but it's similar to drying something outside. The other nice thing for us about this dryer is the soft sound option. Most dryers make a decent amount of noise while running but this one is unbelievably quiet unless we have accidentally left coins in our pockets. You also don't have to have a loud buzzer go off when the clothes are dry on this unit. As far as other products, we compared to Whirlpool and Bosch, which are both excellent products and probably would have worked just as good. We chose Amana because we have had such good luck with Amanas in the past and because it has a much better price tag. The Bosch is close to $1,000 and this product is only $650.
