How so? If my husband had some kind of medical issue that he was struggling with, of course I'd care.

I dont doubt that.

I meant that most wifes wouldn't care if their husband couldn't have sex or didn't want it. More than likely the wife herself doesn't want sex anyway.

Most women would rather do alot of other things than to waste time on sex.

If you are married, you married the WRONG person! If you aren't...keep looking.

There's really nothing more important that I would say "no" to sex for...except maybe sleep, and that's only if I'm exhausted.

Yes, there are exceptions. Now, was she horrendously ugly and fat? Did she go out?

From talking to my friends, it's not all that rare and in fact, the women complain that their husbands are the ones "too tired" or "not in the mood".
Thatís right, there are exceptions. Did you read the links I posted before that talked about how women are the ones that lose the interest for sex, not men, when they are married or even before getting married?

No, I don't see what you mean. You are going to have to dig up those threads where it says "my husband wants sex all the time and I don't" because I honestly can't recall any threads of that nature. (The massage thread doesn't count, BTW. She isn't complaining that he always wants sex, she's complaining that he can't just do something nice for her without expecting sex.)
If she wanted sex as much as him, she wouldnít be complaining for all the times he wants to have sex after the massage. Not sure if we can find at least 2 threads where men complain because their wife wants sex after X activity (a massage, a candle lit dinner, etc.).

So again, we are limiting this to single women. If a married woman wants to have sex and her partner has no drive, no libido, medical issues...what-have-you, she is NOT having sex.
At least we can agree with the single women, right? They also donít need to put any effort to get sex. Well, since we agree on that, letís move on to the married onesÖtell me how common it is for men to NOT WANT sex, go on. Sure, we can say that we have a relative, we heard of someone, etc. But really, how common it is for men to NOT WANT sex compared to women.

As other female posters have pointed out, when single they won't just have sex with some random man just because he said "pretty please". Women have to protect themselves...why would they go to his place if they didn't know him well? That is just asking for trouble. Are you seriously going to play that card? Poor men....they can't get some tail because a woman feels like she needs to be cautious when choosing her bedmates. You get no pity from me.
They wonít have sex for those reasons and many others like not wanting to look dirty and so on. But if she wants to have sex, she will get it with no effort whatsoever. I get no pity from married men either when they complain about their wife not wanting to have sex anymore. Come on, as if they didnít know how common it is for married womenís sexual desire to decrease drastically.

I will not have sex with a woman just because she tried to seduce me, try to be sexy, or just because she came with me on a trip around the world for vacation. No pity for her getting blue ovaries. I shouldnít be expected to have sex if I donít want or feel like it and vice versa. I can control myself, sex doesnít control me.

Elliot Spitzer being an example. I know of no woman that would risk her neck like that.

Its also a curse if your like me and women just don't find you attractive. All it is a burden to bear because it doesn't do me any good whatsoever. I wish there were drugs on the market that could get rid of my sex drive but I know they will never exist because the male sex drive is a lucrative market.

Women always control the sex and they do all the choosing. Men have no say or control in this matter. Most women are sexually apathetic and they use our own desperation against us. I admit, I envy their ability to control themselves.
Humans have evolved very fast. Men just weren't able to keep up. I guess it takes longer for the body to realize things change. Men were supposed to be horny 24/7 because they had impregnate a lot of women in order for the human race to survive. Especially since the vast majority of the babies never made it into adulthood back then. Once women are pregnant, they won't get pregnant again for a while, so there's no need for a high sex drive. So it's actually a natural thing. It's simple biology.

Does she treat men everyday too?

Her "poll" results would be somewhat skewed? No?

Most women that discuss this with the gyno are either looking for a solution because they have a low drive or they are just venting that their husband has a higher drive than they do.

What about the men that go to their doctors because they have no/low drive. Your gyno isn't treating them, so of course she wouldn't know what the prevelance of that is.

Which women?

Nope, didn't read your links. But I'm sure I can find links that say married men don't want sex too.

No, her complaint is that he can't do something nice without expecting sex. Her complaint is that it's always about his needs and never about hers. Obviously we all can't have sex 24/7...so when she just wants a back rub, why can't he just give her the back rub. It really has NOTHING to do with whether or not she wants sex or not.

I took my husband out on a date...at the end of the date I planned on having sex. He was an assh*le on the date, complained, was less than enthusiastic..etc. so he didn't get sex. It wasn't because I didn't WANT to have sex, it was because I didn't want sex WITH HIM that night and so I took care of business myself.

See, it's not that she doesn't want sex...it's that he can't just give with no expectation of receiving. That is what is pissing her off.

It's actually very common (I have a friend that is a urologist). How many close female friends confide in you and tell you that they wish their husband would desire them more? It's a very common complaint among women. Men aren't going to admit they don't want sex because it's not "manly" if you don't have a sex drive. They can barely admit it to my urologist friend, and she is there to fix their issue. Men are supposed to want to boink everything that moves according to the media that they are brainwashed with.

Maybe it's not their drive that decreases, maybe it's their desire for their husband that has decreased. Maybe he used to put all this effort into the tedious job of romancing her (your words) and he has since stopped doing that after they said "I do". Trust me, if a married women doesn't want to have sex with her husband, it is usually because of a medical issue, or because he shoulders some of that blame.

What difference does it make what she looked like? Since you seem to know exactly how every person acts and thinks - you tell me - what did she look like?

I'm not sure what you mean by "did she go out?" Do you think she simply said aloud - I'd like to have sex, please - and suddenly a line formed outside the door?
