LOL....I am quite sure it is all dependent on the individual personality, and not at all by the zodiac sign. There are plenty of scary women out there...of every sign, I'm sure.

It is and they can be of any zodiac sign. Leo women are natural KILLERS though.

Well, now, see, that's my point and what I'm getting at. An alpha female has this "thing" going on inside her and working for her. She doesn't have to be rude or b*tchy to get it and her point across. Many men can sense it as well. How brave is this woman? She's doing things that a man should/would be doing. She seems to have the temperament of a man in some aspects. Is she the type to just lay down and cover her head, or go after who is a threat or harming her? I would think a lifeguard might fit this as well. She's swimming out risking her own neck to save someone. See what I mean? They are more about ACTION then they are "writing the novel and instructions on how to do it". I love the comment "watch this" when it comes out of a alpha female. It's usually going to be exciting and cool, not to mention action packed!

Yes! More of a "Lemme show ya", instead of a "Lemme tell ya about it" mentality. LOL

It's just gossip fodder. Right up there with Jerry Springer. Who cares?

I suppose it's a matter of how we define an alpha female. If your definition is tied to marriage and a man, then you may have a point. If it's tied to something other than marriage and a man, then not so much.

Eh, I know many people that if asked what his most memorable aspect would be, and it would be the cheating, and the way he handled the whole thing.
I view those kinds of people as silly. They're the same type who enjoy reality TV. Are they really sitting around in 2012 worrying about what young woman was giving him head or are they concerned about the policies resulting from his presidency like NAFTA? Do they care that Hillary is still married to Bill or are they in touch with Hillary's actions as secretary of state?

The poll was pretty limited.

There is a big difference in what most people think an alpha is and what one truly is. It does not imply a bully, a *****, an aggressor or an in-your-face type personality. At all!

A true alpha female is kind. She will have a strong physical presence, usually beautiful, but inside as well. She holds her place in the world well and with some elegance. She can mold herself to fit the role called for when needed. She focuses on being a good partner, mother, teacher, friend, daughter. She leaves her narcissism at the door to be a good role model for others.
You will see her in leadership positions, but you can also find her in the garden or making a roast for her husband.
Alpha females tend to draw attention form everyone, but will command the presence in a room. Men will be attracted to her in ways they may not be able to define. Women will be pulled to her cycle.
Overall, alpha females are rare. there are many women who would like to believe they are alpha, but if their egos are attached, they most likely are not.
Sounds like my coworker. Only I consider her to be very controlling, but witty and likable at the same time.

Nope, I consider it not letting anyone walk all over you. Husband, friend, parents, children, boss, Dr., etc...
